Cordless iPod nano Headset

Cordless iPod nano Headset This is a mTune’s Cordless Stereo Headset for iPod® nano. It’s pretty cool, you get to put the nano actually inside the headset and it runs off the iPod’s battery so you don’t need extra battery. What would be cool is if it DID have a place for batteries and powered the nano while it was in there but not necessary.

The controls are easy to use since the clickwheel is exposed. It can also be used as a regular headset. It has a 1 year warranty.

At $49.95, it’s not too bad in comparison to other headsets made for iPods. You can get a Bose headset that will sound as good as sound can sound, but it’s 4-5 times the price.

DDR for your calculatorxLIB xLIB Revolution is a clone of the Dance Dance Revolution game using xLIB flash APP by Patrick Prendergast (hence the name). Unlike most other calculator clones this one features crazy graphics and run pretty fast. It also includes a level editor that will allow infinite possibilities for the game. You can even have background images in songs or even animations! Probably one of (if not the) best DDR clone for calcs. Enjoy and have fun!

iPod Directions

iPod Directions This is a late post. I found about this awhile ago and thought it was blog-worthy but forgot to add it.

You basically enter a starting address and a destination, click the second button, and the website will give you a zip file of images files. The image files are alternately a map image and text direction. If you have an iPod Photo, Ipod nano or the new iPod, you upload the image files and you can scroll through the image as directions. It’s really easy to use and it’s free!

Quake 3 on PocketPC

Quake 3 on PocketPC Seems like these guys were able to port Quake 3 Arena to Windows CE 4.2 for PocketPC’s. It doesn’t seem to run that fast, only 5 fps, but they said that they know how to make it faster and will be releasing faster versions. But it’s pretty cool that you can play online wirelessly on a PocketPC if you spent all your money to buy a PocketPC before the PSP came out. Otherwise, you should just buy a PSP. PSP does the same things but looks better, performs better and you can do pretty much anything you could do on a PocketPC on a PSP.

New Laptop

So my desktop died and I had to get a new computer. I’ve been planning to buy one eventually but I wanted to save up and buy it cash. But I needed something to work on until I can get parts to fix my computer.

So this is what I chose. The Toshiba Satellite M55-S135. This is my second Toshiba laptop. The other was a monster desktop replacement that had a desktop Pentium 4 processor that sucked up battery life, generated a lot of lap-burning heat and was really slow for what it did. Despite my poor decision to buy a Toshiba laptop, I bought this one. This one at least has a Mobile processor so it means it’s actually designed to work in a laptop. Unfortunately, it’s a Celeron. I would’ve liked to have bought a Centrino but this is all I could afford.

Some highlights of this laptop includes a dual-layer DVD burner, built-in wifi 802.11b/g, 80 GB HDD and Toshiba display which I consider one of the better ones out there. So far I’m satisfied with it. Zipping files up take longer than I expected with no other programs running and minimal processes running. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase. It has a lot of features and I like features.

Experimental Interface

This is an experimental graphic user interface that someone in Sony’s labs has created. It’s almost Minority Report. Not as big. I’m still frustrated that technology is taking so long. I just want personalized mall advertisements. Am I asking too much?

Here is another link to download the video (29.6MB).

This is going to cost a lot

It’s an LCD keyboard. The keys change depending on the program/game. You can change languages. Probably host of other things as well. Maybe light up in different colors when playing music so it looks like an equalizer.
