A couple of days ago, it was speculated that Iceland is pretty much bankrupt. Now it is being reported that Iceland has 3-4 weeks of food supply. The importers are afraid to deal with the country since Iceland’s currency, the krona, is not going to last and the exchange rate is unclear. They are currently seeking a Nordic help for $546 million and a multi-billion dollar loan from Russia.
