Improv Everywhere, who recently performed the Frozen Grand Central and 111 Shirtless at an Abercrombie and Fitch store, just staged a musical at a mall food court. It was funny when an "agent" dressed as security came over and people got disappointed because he started singing. I also thought it was funny how some adults didn't care and the kids loved it.

I never really cared about crazy Tom Cruise and his Scientology. I don't know much about either of them. After seeing this video, I really see that he's completely insane. It also makes sense why so many people in Hollywood are Scientologists. He describes being a Scientologist as being the good guy in an high budget action movie. You know the ones with no substance and all explosions.
The sad part is that there are people who see Tom Cruise in a video like this and think that it's Mission Impossible 4. By thinking that it's an action movie, they pay attention. They pay attention and soak everything that he's pooping out of his mouth. The whole cycle is just disgusting.

Other countries have so much fun. This is in Spain.I think they should've taken the extra step and made it playable. The shape should make it extra fun like you would have to run around the tree when your Pac-Man is towards the top of the tree, where it is narrow, and you wouldn't know if a ghost was coming in the next turn.

iYule is a video you can download to watch on your iPod, AppleTV, Zune, Creative Zen, Sansa, Xbox 360, etc. The yule log is one of the highest rated shows on Christmas, so it makes sense to sell it on the new mediums. Yes, it costs $5 for a portable player format and $7 for a bigger format for TV's. The money goes to charity, though. Sample video below.

Awesome Image Resizer
Yesterday, this video was released. The video is for a image resizing technology that doesn't just scale the image, it manipulates the image so that certain areas gets multiplied and certain areas stay the same. The areas that stays the same can be chosen automatically or manually. It can also be used to delete certain things out of images. This is done with a simple click and drag.
Well, the co-creator, Shai Avidan, will now be working for Adobe in their Newton, MA office. It'll be great if he is put on the Dreamweaver team instead of Photoshop and he's all like, "okay, cool" because he's probably a good programmer. Adobe would be pretty stupid if they did that though.

I can't believe that I missed this site for so long. VeryFunnyAds.com is a streaming video site just for commercials. I always thought it was a great idea to have a youtube just for commercials. Everyone wins as visitors get to see that commercial everyone is talking about without watching every channel on TV for 24 hour a day trying to catch it naturally and the advertiser get extra free promotion. It's too slow to actually play and the controller on screen looks good but plays bad.
Update: Looks like a couple of l33t hackers got a hold of it and rewrote it so that it's much faster. You'll still have trouble if you have normal sized thumbs though.

Monster Dare is a social networking site where you can dare each other to do stuff. You can dare friends or complete strangers. The dare can be for street cred or it can be for money. Since I'm rich with street cred, I would probably do stuff for money. The dares range from silly dares that are there just to be funny, impossible dares and even XXX dares. There also a chicken category but there's no dares there. Well after accepting the dare, you have to prove that you took the challenge. Looks like submitting a video is the only way to prove it. The submitted video then gets voted on. You can also submit money to the pot so it is more enticing to dare accepters. Sounds interesting but there isn't much content up there.

Sutree is a video website where you can watch and upload videos. The videos get rated and commented on like any other streaming video website. This website stands out from the rest that the videos are only tutorials. People can upload a video about something that they know how to do. Thiswould be great for the MAKE and ReadyMade audience. This seems like a really good idea. Of course, you can only make so many youtube clones until you put a clock in it (i.e. Revver, Metacafe) or make a niche version (i.e. Pornotube), so it's not an original idea. But I like where Sutree is going with their site. Though eventually, someone will post a tutorial about sex positions, they'll have to add an over 18 disclaimer and it will eventually become Pornotube. It always happens. Pornotube.

He comes back out, says a couple of jokes and leaves. At the end, they add Jeffries' CD. This seems to be a trend, videos of violence while comics are doing their stand-up. The New York Times has an article about Pat Venditte who is a pitcher for Creighton University. He is different in that he can pitch with both hands. Pitchers like Venditte are pretty rare obviously. Most ambidexterious pitchers haven't been that good or is really only good with one arm, they just happened to be able to pitch with the other once in awhile. I'm just posting this because I really liked this commercial. It's true how people who own Golf/GTi's loves them. 90% of the people I know who owns/owned a GTi has also owned/owns an older Golf/GTi. I wanted an older one when I had my MK4(1999-2005) GTi. I'm guessing that most people view the older MK1 (1975-1984) and MK2 (1985-1992) GTi's as an ugly car because the design is so dated and it's boxy. Once you owned one or owned a later GTi, you just get to appreciate its styling and the car that it is. It's a very straighforward and simple car with a great chassis meaning that it's easy to work on and fun to drive.

This is my jam right here. The concept of this totally awesome music video is mind blowing. Four meteors fall down on to Earth and they transform into four musical geniuses but at the same time, they represent the four elements, water, wind, fire, and earth. They show off their mighty powers while singing a song that's universally the awesome. You haven't lived until you've made a video of yourself dancing and emulating this video on youtube.

While I was going over the site looking for design inconsistencies, I found that the paper box video was removed on metacafe. After the video said that it was removed, it showed three other videos randomly. This one is of a contestant on Who wants to be a Millionaire. He was introduced and he talked about himself so you got to know him a little. Then it turns out that he did no have a brain as he answers the first gimme question completely wrong.

This is an experimental graphic user interface that someone in Sony's labs has created. It's almost Minority Report. Not as big. I'm still frustrated that technology is taking so long.
