This is a very interesting article about two 17-year-old Australian girls that one day decided to kill their friend. They just snuck up behind her and started to choke her with a speaker wire while holding a cloth soaked with chemicals. It sounded like she didn’t go down easily, even though the girls said that they were trying to kill Eliza, the victim, without having her suffer. Then they buried her. They pretended to help Eliza’s families look for her but eventually turned themselves in. Here are some of the girls’ quotes:
“We just did it because we felt like it, it is hard to explain.”
“I knew we had wanted to kill someone before.”
“We knew it was wrong, but it didn’t feel wrong at all, it just felt right.”
