This story is about a duck that was shot down and injured its wing. The hunter brought it home and put it in a fridge. Two days later, the hunter’s wife opened the fridge and saw the duck’s head move. They took it to a local veterinary hospital and then taken to an animal sanctuary for more specialised treatment. They gave the duck a 75% chance of survival and will probably never be recovered enough to release it back into the wild.
