Scienceblog has a post about the science of Godzilla, explaining the biology of Godzilla. It talks about both the original and the dumb one they made in 1998 where he was a monster created by the Mountain Dew marketing department. It has dinosaur experts talking about Godzilla if he had actually existed.
They expert did agree that the Mountain Dew version was less plausible even if it did look more “real.” They also explained why Godzilla wouldn’t need to eat and how he would be able to breath radioactivity.
