“Dead” man wakes up under autopsy knife

Dead man wakes up under autopsy knife This is like one of my many nightmare scenarios to be in. It’s like waking up while you’re in surgery. Fortunately, it’s wasn’t in the part of the autopsy where your stomach is sliced open and the autopsy doctor juggles your intestines. If it was at that point, I think he would’ve went back to sleep.

Carlos Camejo, 33, was declared dead after a highway accident and taken to the morgue, where examiners began an autopsy only to realize something was amiss when he started bleeding. They quickly sought to stitch up the incision on his face.

“I woke up because the pain was unbearable,” Camejo said, according to a report on Friday in leading local newspaper El Universal.

His grieving wife turned up at the morgue to identify her husband’s body only to find him moved into a corridor — and alive.

Blood Sugar Contacts

“BALTIMORE, Nov. 13 (UPI) — A scientist in Baltimore has developed a contact lens that can provide diabetics with a non-invasive way to monitor blood sugar.”

This is pretty cool. It’s only a dot you would see if you’re wearing the contacts. I think it should change colors like Frodo’s sword in LOTR when there were orcs near.

Blind woman sees after heart attack

This is a ridiculous story where Joyce Urch, a blind woman since 1979, woke up in the hospital after suffering a heart attack and could see again. Then she looked at her husband and mirror and said we’re old. She was able to see her grandchild for the first time.

The doctors say that she has glucoma but that wasn’t the reason for her blindness in the first place. They are still looking into how it happened.
